ChurchKeeper manages your membership and contribution activity, as well as the daily tasks confronted by the church Administrator/Secretary.

ExpenseKeeper handles a church's disbursements. This includes paying vendors, employees, and creditors, as well as generates income/expense reports.

Why Two Modules?

Why do we use two different modules, one for membership management, and the other for accounting?

Most churches have separation between duties for the church secretary and treasurer. With two modules, each can load the software on their own computer and not fight for computer time or duties. The financial side is always in balance as it is balanced with true cash!

How do the two modules work together?

In ChurchKeeper, enter all member/visitor profiles and all contribution activity. Generate statements/rosters/directories and communicate with your membership.

In ExpenseKeeper, enter vendors (including 1099) contractors. Enter payments to vendors Enter employees and print payroll and account payables checks.

How do I get the contribution data from ChurchKeeper into ExpenseKeeper?

If loaded on the same computer, ChurchKeeper will interface directly with ExpenseKeeper. If loaded on a separate computer, on a regular basis (usually weekly), enter all contributions in ChurchKeeper and balance these contributions with the CONTRIBUTION DISTRIBUTION REPORT. You then make a deposit at the bank and enter the deposit in ExpenseKeeper (an option is available to enter deposits). The money is credited to your bank account.

What's Next?

Once you have done these simple procedures above, you can generate monthly income/expense statements from ExpenseKeeper , showing all contribution activity as well as expense. With just a push of a button, you can generate on the fly statements to your congregation showing their contributions.
